Uncle and nephew injured in Podujevë, Prosecutor’s Office with new details

Four individuals were reportedly injured following an armed confrontation that occurred on Friday afternoon, around 1:40 PM, in the “Bulevardi i Dëshmorëve” area of Podujevë. The Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Pristina released preliminary findings regarding the incident. According to the office, the investigation indicates that at least three individuals were directly involved in the clash.

Reports suggest that assailants, armed with firearms, inflicted injuries upon the three primary parties, in addition to striking a random bystander. Authorities have noted that the individuals suspected of being involved in the altercation reportedly share family connections, specifically identified as an uncle and his nephews. The preliminary assessment points toward a recent disagreement as the suspected catalyst for the violence.

Upon receiving initial information from the Kosovo Police, the department’s prosecutor acted immediately to initiate an inquiry.
