Vita: April AUV analyses confirm that our products do not contain powdered milk and palm oil

Vita dairy has released a statement detailing the outcomes of analyses conducted by the Kosovo Agency of Food and Veterinary (AUV) regarding the composition of its goods. The company reported that the testing confirmed that its products are composed entirely of milk. According to the results received by Vita on April 6th, the analyses determined that the products do not contain powdered milk or palm oil.

The announcement followed a period of operational adjustment related to a recent protest involving local farmers. In addition to the product analysis, Vita confirmed that a meeting took place involving representatives from the farming community, the relevant minister, and company personnel. This meeting successfully concluded with an agreement establishing a temporary resumption of milk collection from the farmers.

The findings from the AUV are central to Vita’s public disclosure, affirming the purity of the milk used in their offerings. The company emphasized that the rigorous testing provided official confirmation that the dairy’s products do not contain adulterants such as powdered milk or palm oil. The agreement reached addresses the logistical challenges faced by the dairy, allowing the supply chain to resume normal operations by sourcing fresh milk directly from local producers.
