Traffic accident in Gostivar, seven people injured

Seven individuals were injured following a significant traffic accident that occurred on “Mlaki” street in Gostivar. According to reports from the MPB, the incident was reported on April 6 at approximately 11:10 PM at the Gostivar Internal Affairs Department. The accident involved two vehicles: a Citroen Berlingo, operated by 59-year-old R.J.

from Gostivari, and a Seat Leon, driven by 70-year-old O.R. from Gostivari. Both drivers sustained serious injuries.

Additionally, three passengers—M.S. (64), Z.I. (45), and S.R.

(60)—were also reported as having sustained serious injuries. The injured parties were transported to the “Nëna Terezë” Clinic Complex in Skopje for advanced care. Two other passengers, D.P.G.

(59) and P.A. (54), sustained injuries that were initially diagnosed at the Gostivar Medical Center. Following the collision, a team from the Gostivar DPB conducted a thorough inspection of the accident scene to document the circumstances surrounding the traffic incident.

Authorities confirmed that the accident resulted in multiple casualties, necessitating immediate medical intervention for all involved. The investigation is ongoing to determine the precise cause of the crash on the Gostivar thoroughfare.
