The Municipality of Fushë Kosovë has officially initiated its annual sowing campaign. In conjunction with the launch, municipal authorities conducted a field visit to assess the progress of the agricultural activities and inspect the current condition of the planted crops. According to the municipality’s official announcement, the planting efforts across the region have covered substantial ground.
Specifically, the municipality reports that approximately 1,925 hectares of wheat, 105 hectares of alder, and 50 hectares of barley have been sown within the territory of Fushë Kosovë. Officials noted that the preliminary assessment of the expected yields is favorable, and recent rainfall has not resulted in significant damage to the grain crops. Furthermore, planning for the subsequent harvest phase has been finalized.
The municipality confirmed that all necessary logistical capacities are secured to support the collection process. Regarding equipment readiness, the municipality stated that it possesses a sufficient inventory of tractors to manage the harvesting process efficiently. Furthermore, adherence to the pricing structure set forth by the Ministry of Agriculture was confirmed, ensuring that all required tractors are available for deployment throughout the coming weeks.
These measures underscore the coordinated effort of the municipality to ensure a stable agricultural output following the successful completion of the sowing campaign.
