The Municipality of Ferizaj has reinforced its efforts to combat environmental pollution by issuing a total of four fines. These penalties were administered by the Municipal Inspectorate in response to improper waste disposal across several locations within the municipality. According to Chief Inspector Feriz Hyseni, the infractions were documented on the streets of “Qamil ilazi,” “12 qershori,” “Gjon Serreçi,” and “Uran Tinova.” The fines targeted individuals who were observed discarding refuse outside of designated collection times, placing waste outside of provided containers, and depositing trash in common areas of residential buildings.
The municipality issued a formal notice emphasizing the need for public cooperation regarding waste management. The notice specifically cautioned citizens to exercise care in how they dispose of waste, noting that the current summer season presents elevated public health risks due to high temperatures. The action underscores the local government’s commitment to maintaining cleanliness and environmental standards.
The issuance of these fines serves as a direct measure to enforce proper waste disposal practices across the community.
