The Regional Water Supply Company “Mitrovica” has issued a notice regarding a temporary disruption to the water supply for several villages within the Vushtrri area. The interruption is attributed to a defect discovered in a water pipe located in the village of Maxhunaj. Consequently, the following communities are expected to experience a lack of potable water until necessary repairs are completed: Maxhunaj, Lumi i Madh, Stanovci i Epërm, Stanovci i Poshtëm, Vilanc, Ropicë, Samadrexhë, and Sfaraçak.
Mitrovica has dispatched maintenance teams to the site, and these crews are currently working to address the pipe defect. The company stated that the water supply will be fully restored once the necessary repairs have been finalized. Residents are advised to await updates from the Regional Water Supply Company regarding the estimated time of service resumption.
This localized issue affects the infrastructure supporting the water supply across multiple settlements in Vushtrri. Authorities are coordinating efforts to expedite the repair process and minimize the duration of the service interruption for the affected population.
