48 business contracts signed under the subsidy scheme

The Municipality of Kamenica has finalized agreements with 48 local businesses participating in a subsidy program designed to support their development and expansion. As part of a public initiative to bolster local commerce, the Deputy Mayor of Kamenica, Arta Bajralija, and the Director of the Directorate for Economic Development and Diaspora, Edon Dërmaku, met with the recipient businesses. A total of 48 businesses secured support through the subsidy, with the cumulative value of the distributed funds reaching €132,500.00.

These supported businesses represent diverse sectors, categorized as follows: one manufacturing enterprise, ten processing businesses, four service businesses, and thirty-three construction businesses. The municipal officials stated that the purpose of these subsidies is to create avenues for the businesses to invest capital, enhance their existing capacities, and generate new employment opportunities within the region. The signing of these contracts marks a significant commitment from the municipality to fostering economic growth among its local enterprises.

The support aims to strengthen the operational foundations of these businesses across various industrial and service sectors.
