The “Dr. Sami Haxhibeqiri” General Hospital in Mitrovica reported conducting over 91,000 outpatient visits during the first half of 2026. According to statistics released by the healthcare facility, patient volume was highest in the Pediatrics and Emergency departments during this period.

Pediatrics accounted for 17,898 visits, closely followed by Emergency services, which managed 16,238 patient visits. Further data from the hospital shows that Ophthalmology recorded 7,395 visits, while Orthopedics handled 6,215 visits, and Surgery registered 5,807 visits. The Internal Medicine department recorded 5,593 visits, and the Otorhinolaryngology (ORL) service managed 5,542 visits.

Urology contributed 5,525 visits to the total count of visits at the Mitrovica hospital. These figures provide a detailed overview of the patient flow across various medical specialties at the “Dr. Sami Haxhibeqiri” General Hospital.

The data highlights that the hospital’s primary care services, particularly pediatrics and emergency care, saw the greatest utilization of services between January and June 2026.
