Anti-drug operation in Pristina – two people arrested, approximately 150 grams of cocaine confiscated

The Kosovo Police have announced the apprehension of two individuals in connection with drug-related activities, leading to the confiscation of 147.7 grams of a substance suspected to be cocaine. According to the police statement, investigators from the Unit of the Directorate for Drug Trafficking Investigation (DHTN), based in Pristina, managed an operation concerning the alleged sale of narcotic substances. Following intensive operational and investigative work, authorities detained the suspects.

On April 15, 2026, one of the individuals, identified by the initials F. P. and born in 1992, was located on the Peja-Pristina highway while operating a vehicle.

During the subsequent investigation, law enforcement personnel recovered the seized narcotics from both the suspect’s vehicle and his residence. The operation highlights the ongoing efforts by Kosovo authorities to combat the illegal drug trade. The police confirmed that the seizure represented a significant quantity of a substance classified as a controlled narcotic.

The arrests underscore the commitment of the DHTN unit in Pristina to disrupting illicit trafficking networks within the region. The investigation into the involvement of the two suspects is reportedly ongoing as authorities continue to build a comprehensive case regarding the distribution of these drugs.
