The Board of Kosovo’s Radio Television Corporation (RTK) has unanimously elected Zana Spahiu to serve as the new Director-General of the public broadcaster. Spahiu was selected following a comprehensive interview and evaluation process, where she emerged as the top-ranked candidate. The Board members voted unanimously to confirm her leadership role at RTK, granting her a mandate period of three years.
During the selection process, Zana Spahiu achieved the highest evaluation score, accumulating 90.7 points from the members of the RTK Board. The competition for the Director-General position involved six candidates: Lorik Arifaj, Antigona Baxhaku, Arber Geci, Nexhmedin Spahiu, Zana Spahiu, and Hysen Hundozi. This decision by the Board officially concludes the selection process for the leadership of the public broadcaster.
With her election, Zana Spahiu is set to assume the role of Director-General, guiding the operations of RTK over the next three years. The unanimous backing from the Board solidifies her appointment to lead the corporation.
