Since retiring approximately 15 years ago, Topçu has maintained his passion for miniature woodworking, a hobby he began ten years ago. He currently dedicates time to creating small, detailed models of various structures using recycled materials.
Using only basic tools—including a knife, hand drill, cloth stripper, and glue—Topçu crafts intricate pieces entirely by hand. His creations encompass miniature mosques, historical buildings, old houses, and a variety of other structures. To date, the skilled artisan has prepared over 50 distinct pieces.
According to Topçu, the practice of making these wooden miniatures serves as a fulfilling way to occupy his time after leaving his previous career.
