The Municipality of Ferizaj has issued a statement regarding the ongoing infrastructure project in the village of Bibaj, clarifying the current status of the works and addressing discrepancies with the Ministry of Infrastructure’s public statements. The municipality asserts that the project is in an advanced stage of development and disputes the Ministry’s claims regarding the implementation methodology. According to the official notice, the municipality emphasized that the initial design of the project adhered strictly to the budgetary constraints established by the Ministry of Infrastructure.
Consequently, certain technical components were necessarily omitted from the current phase of the implementation. Specifically, the Municipality of Ferizaj noted that elements excluded from the scope include the expropriation process for the ring road regulation, the installation of public lighting, landscaping, the widening of the ring road at the highway exit, and the fitting of two sets of traffic lights. The municipality further indicated that it had previously submitted documentation to the Ministry of Infrastructure concerning these matters.
This clarification aims to reconcile the perceived differences between the municipality’s operational capacity and the expectations set forth by the central ministry regarding the scope of the overall infrastructure project.
