MSH: Number of new cases of gastroenterocolitis falls in Gostivar

The Ministry of Health has announced ongoing monitoring of the epidemiological situation within the Gostivar area. According to the most recent data provided by public health institutions, there has been an initial decrease in the number of patients presenting with symptoms of gastroenterocolitis since the previous day. Collectively, a total of 1,554 patients were registered at the Gostivar General Hospital, while 1,392 patients were recorded at the Gostivar Health Center.

Furthermore, four individuals who were previously hospitalized have since been discharged to receive home treatment. To date, 140 formal reports have been submitted. These reports are currently being processed by the epidemiological teams at the Tetovo Public Health Center and the Institute of Health.

The monitoring efforts underscore the continuous assessment of public health metrics across the region. The Ministry stated that this ongoing surveillance is critical for tracking the transmission patterns and the overall burden of gastroenterocolitis in the Gostivar community. Health officials continue to advise the public to remain vigilant and seek immediate medical attention for any persistent gastrointestinal symptoms.
