The Albanian State Hospital provides details about the condition of the child injured in the accident in Istog

A young child was transported to the Emergency Center of the Kosovo University Clinical Center today for advanced medical treatment following injuries sustained in an automobile accident. The incident occurred in the area of Shushicë e Istogut around 4:00 PM. Naser Syla, the Director of the Emergency Clinic, confirmed that the patient suffered from severe polytrauma as a direct result of the accident.

Syla stated that the child was initially admitted in critical medical condition. He detailed that comprehensive examinations have been conducted upon arrival, and the patient is currently under observation within the Emergency Center facilities. According to Syla, the medical team will continue the patient’s care at the Intensive Care Clinic once the initial assessment is complete and the child’s vital signs have stabilized.

While acknowledging the seriousness of the injuries sustained during the accident, Syla reported that the child’s current condition is stable at this time. Details regarding the specifics of the accident were provided by personnel from the General Hospital in Peja. The medical staff at the university center emphasized that the focus remains on stabilizing the child and initiating the necessary intensive treatment protocols to address the complex trauma sustained in the incident.
