The Regional Water Utility Company, Hidromorava, has announced a temporary interruption of the water supply originating from the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) in Letnica. This action is necessary due to elevated turbidity levels detected at the source water. According to a statement from Hidromorava RCU, recent rainfall has resulted in an increase in the water’s turbidity, prompting the WTP in Letnica to temporarily suspend its standard water treatment processes.
Consequently, the water supply to all service areas dependent on this facility has been halted. The utility provided an update, stating that technical teams are continuously monitoring the situation. They confirmed that the treatment process and the water supply will resume immediately once the turbidity levels fall back to parameters permitted by established standards.
Hidromorava RCU issued a notice requesting consumer understanding regarding this necessary service interruption. The company also extended its apologies for the inconvenience caused by the temporary disruption to the water service. Residents are advised to await further updates from the utility regarding the resumption of normal water flow.
