The verification of signatures at the LDK has concluded; the date of the Parliament is not yet known.

The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) has completed the verification of signatures from its delegates supporting a call for an Extraordinary Parliament. This proposed session is expected to address the removal of the current leader, Lumir Abdixhiku. Ilir Ferati, the LDK secretary, confirmed the status of the process to Radio Dukagjini.

He stated that the party is currently in the technical preparation phase regarding the convening of the parliament. Ferati noted that while the signature verification is complete, a definitive date for the meeting has not yet been established. He explained that the secretariat is actively working on the remaining technical aspects necessary for the proceedings.

“The signature verification is complete; we are now awaiting the preparation of other technical parts,” Ferati stated. He added that the secretariat is working diligently to provide the party with a democratic direction as soon as possible. According to Ferati, once preparations are finalized, the leader will be informed, and subsequently, the official invitation for the parliament will be issued.

He cautioned against external pressure, asserting that the process will proceed in its proper order.
