Transport experts suggest that a primary method for mitigating this consistent flow issue is the development of the Milot-Balldren highway, which constitutes a segment of the larger Adriatic-Ionian Corridor. This planned infrastructure project is anticipated to divert significant transit traffic around the core of Lezhë. Implementing this bypass is expected to substantially alleviate the current load on existing thoroughfares, leading to improved circulation patterns, especially during peak tourist seasons.
Addressing the strain caused by increased regional movement remains a key focus for local transportation planning.
