According to data provided by the Ministry of Health, there has been fluctuation in the daily admissions. On April 24, the recorded number of patients saw a decline, totaling 80 individuals.
However, this trend reversed the following day, as the number of patients rose to 125 on April 25. Despite reporting this daily variation, the Ministry has not issued a clarification regarding the cause of this recent increase in the patient count. Historically, the highest volume of treatment occurred on April 18, when a total of 649 patients were treated.
Cumulatively, from April 14 through April 25, a total of 4,070 people have sought medical assistance in response to the situation. The current public health advisory remains consistent: the water supply in Gostivar is not yet potable. Authorities anticipate that the water will be ready for technical use beginning tomorrow.
The fluctuating number of patients underscores the ongoing health impact related to the contaminated water source, prompting continuous monitoring by local health officials.
