The National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo (IKSHPK) has reported a total of 112 registered cases of fruit within Kosovo. According to the latest updates, the institute confirmed 13 new cases in the past week alone. IKSHPK noted that the rate of increase in these cases remains a point of concern, particularly given the rapid accumulation of diagnoses over a short period.
Statistical analysis indicates a significant upward trend. By April 10, a cumulative total of 62 cases had been reported across the country. However, the data shows that an additional 50 cases were registered between April 10 and August 10, bringing the overall total to 112 cases.
Geographically, the distribution of the cases varies across the region of Kosovo. Pristina reported the highest concentration of cases, accounting for 37 diagnoses. Following this, Lushnjë-Kosovo recorded 29 cases, while Ferizaj reported 12 cases.
The continuous monitoring by IKSHPK emphasizes the need for vigilance regarding the spread of fruit cases.
