Kosovo and France formalized their commitment to enhanced bilateral cooperation on Monday through the signing of five distinct agreements. The agreements were executed during the official visit to Kosovo by the French Minister Delegate for Europe, Benjamin Haddad. He was received by the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Glauk Konjufca.
The five agreements cover several key areas of partnership. One significant document is a letter of intent establishing the Kosovo-French Community, which aims to support the organizational efforts for the Middle East Games Pristina 2030. Additionally, the parties signed an administrative agreement focused on facilitating the teaching of the French language within Kosovo.
Further strengthening legal ties, the delegation executed an agreement concerning mutual legal assistance in criminal matters, alongside a dedicated extradition agreement. Complementing these accords, a credit agreement was also signed with the French Development Agency (AFD). This financial instrument is specifically allocated to support ongoing development projects within Kosovo.
The signing of these five agreements underscores a comprehensive commitment from both nations to deepen their collaborative relationship across cultural, legal, and developmental sectors.
