PDK and local producers before the Government: The Constitutional Court must stop the blockade, the institutional crisis is leading us toward failure

Local producers recently participated in a demonstration organized by the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, held outside the Government Building. Participants voiced demands for the immediate constitution of the Assembly and the functionalization of key state institutions. The primary objective of the demonstration was to secure institutional mechanisms capable of addressing the persistent economic challenges confronting farmers, producers, and the broader business sector.

Representing the interests of local producers, Abedin Ramadani, who operates within the grain and dairy sectors, emphasized that the current institutional instability is exacerbating existing financial pressures. He highlighted that the sector is already grappling with escalating operational costs, market volatility, and intense competition stemming from imported goods. Ramadani further noted that the discourse emanating from the current government has contributed to a decline in confidence among the citizenry and the producers.

He stated that such public statements risk undermining the necessary trust required for stable economic planning. The demonstration underscored a deep concern regarding governance effectiveness. The protesters asserted that without functional legislative and administrative bodies, the capacity of the state to create a supportive and predictable environment for local enterprise remains compromised.

The core message conveyed was a call for immediate governmental action to stabilize the institutional framework, thereby allowing economic development to proceed without undue administrative hindrance.
