The Public Prosecutor’s Office in Skopje has ordered the commencement of investigative procedures concerning four individuals apprehended over the weekend in possession of various narcotics. According to the PTHP’s announcement, the evidence collected suggests that the individuals may have committed the criminal act of “Unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and precursors.”
One of the primary investigations involves a father and son, aged 50 and 19. Both were found at their residence on ‘Brigada Makedonsko-kosovska’ street while jointly possessing approximately five kilograms of marijuana.
The substance was reportedly packaged in multiple bags, indicating an intent for further sale. During the police inspection of the premises, three digital scales containing drug residue were also recovered. Furthermore, an investigation has been launched against a separate individual, a 25-year-old from Araçina.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office is leading the comprehensive investigation into these separate incidents. The procedures aim to establish the full scope of the alleged illegal activities. The actions taken underscore the authorities’ commitment to combating illicit drug trade within the region.
