This agreement totals 60 million euros, earmarked for the development of “The Games of the XXI Century in Kosovo – Pristina 2030.” The signing ceremony took place during the official visit to Kosovo by the French Minister of State for Europe, Benjamin Haddad, and was attended by Arnaud Dauphin, the Director of the Western Balkans Regional Office at AFD. According to the official announcement, the allocated funds are designated for critical infrastructure upgrades across the nation’s educational sector.
Specifically, the financing will support the comprehensive renovation and expansion of the Student Center Complex at the University of Pristina. Furthermore, a substantial portion of the money will be directed toward the construction and modernization of sports facilities within educational institutions throughout Kosovo. The initiative is projected to yield considerable benefits for the local populace.
An estimated population exceeding 40,000 students and pupils are expected to directly benefit from the project through the establishment of modern, dedicated learning and recreational spaces.
