The primary objective of this visit is to strengthen and deepen the existing bilateral relationship between France and Kosovo. The diplomatic engagement follows recent high-level discussions, notably the meeting held in March between the acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and French President Emmanuel Macron.
The visit is intended to build momentum and provide renewed impetus to the cooperation framework between the two nations. During his time in Kosovo, Haddad engaged in a series of meetings with key figures in the country’s political leadership. These discussions included sessions with the acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Glauk Konjufca, and the lead negotiator with the European Union, Jeton Zulfaj.
Furthermore, Haddad met with representatives from various parliamentary parties to discuss avenues for collaboration. The visit concluded with tangible results, as five distinct agreements were formally signed during the official engagements. The itinerary and outcomes underscore the commitment from the French government to enhancing diplomatic and economic ties with Kosovo.
