The Mayor of Malisheva, Ekrem Kastrati, has announced the completion of asphalt paving works on a key road infrastructure project. The improvements cover the road segment extending from the Mini Transit Bridge to the roundabout situated near the City Stadium. Kastrati stated that this investment is intended to significantly enhance local road infrastructure, thereby increasing overall traffic safety and improving vehicle circulation efficiency within the area.
According to the Mayor’s announcement, the newly paved segment will reopen for limited circulation starting this evening at 8:00 PM. Initially, passage will be restricted to vehicles weighing up to 3.5 tons. Furthermore, Kastrati provided details regarding the full reopening schedule.
Circulation for all vehicle types is scheduled to resume on Wednesday, August 4, 2026, beginning at 7:00 AM. The completion of this paving project marks a major upgrade to the connectivity surrounding the Mini Transit Bridge area, aiming to better serve daily commuters and local traffic patterns.
