The Municipality of Struga conducted a public auction for its official Audi vehicle. According to the municipality, the vehicle was successfully sold at the auction. Nine bidders participated, representing various locations including Struga, Ohrid, Manastir, and Skopje.
The highest bid, amounting to 22,000 euros, was submitted by a company based in Manastir, which was subsequently declared the winner. The proceeds generated from the sale are designated to help reduce the municipal debt of the Municipality of Struga. In a statement regarding the sale, the current administration indicated an aim to rationalize expenditures.
Officials noted that the use of luxury vehicles is not considered necessary for the operational needs of the municipal administration. Moreover, the Municipality of Struga reaffirmed its commitment to policies focused on decreasing spending, enhancing transparency, and improving the management of public finances. These actions reflect a broader administrative effort to manage resources responsibly.
