The Kosovo Police have confirmed a fatal incident that took place on Monday morning in Peja, involving a woman who was struck by a train. Authorities confirmed the death following the incident. According to Fadil Gashi, the Police Spokesperson for the Peja region, the event was reported to local authorities at approximately 5:35 AM.
Upon receiving the initial report that a person had been hit by the train, units from the police and the emergency medical team were dispatched immediately to the location.
