LAMM: Border crossings “Tabanoc,” “Bogorodicë,” and “Dojran” are expected to be around an hour

The Auto-Moto Association of Macedonia (LAMM) has issued an update regarding current travel conditions across the nation. According to the association, domestic traffic flow throughout the country is proceeding without reported obstacles, and road surfaces are currently dry. Outside of major urban centers, traffic density is described as moving at a moderate pace.

However, travelers utilizing the international routes should be aware of significant delays at specific points of entry and exit. LAMM reports that drivers are encountering extended waiting times, estimated at approximately one hour, at the “Tabanoc,” “Bogorodicë,” and “Dijran” border crossings. Conversely, the association noted that other designated border crossings are experiencing normal and swift passage.

LAMM advises all motorists to exercise heightened vigilance regarding vehicle speeds throughout the country. Particular caution is recommended when traversing the nation’s valleys, as conditions may present slippery hazards despite the current dry reports. These safety guidelines are crucial for ensuring smooth transit through the border regions and across the general infrastructure.

The public is urged to plan extra time when approaching these key border crossings to account for the reported delays.
