The Municipality of Pristina has announced forthcoming modifications to the vehicular flow on “Tirana” street, located within the Lakërishtë neighborhood. These changes to the local traffic pattern are scheduled to take effect starting August 4th. The revised traffic pattern dictates specific directional changes along the street.
Specifically, the segment of “Tirana” street traveling from “Dritan Hoxha” street toward the Lakërishtë roundabout will be designated as a one-way route. Conversely, the opposing direction, moving from the Lakërishtë roundabout back toward “Dritan Hoxha” street, will be configured with two dedicated lanes for vehicular traffic. To assist the public with these adjustments, the Municipality has issued an official notice accompanied by a video demonstration.
This visual aid illustrates the entirety of the new traffic organization and the required movement directions throughout this particular street segment. Authorities have emphasized the necessity for all citizens to observe and adhere to the newly installed signage. The implementation of this updated traffic pattern aims to enhance overall safety and ensure a more systematic and orderly flow of traffic within the Lakërishtë area.
Drivers are advised to familiarize themselves with the changes to the street layout to facilitate a smooth transition to the revised system.
