The Kosovo Police have issued a public appeal regarding a Belgian breed dog located in the village of Belincë, Shtime. According to the Kosovo Police spokesperson for the Ferizaj Region, Kanun Veseli, the dog has been present in the yard of a residence for approximately two days, causing concern for the local family. Police units responded to the scene and assessed the animal, determining that it is a trained dog rather than a stray.
Although the Fire Brigade Unit was initially engaged in efforts to safely remove the dog, the animal has reportedly returned to the vicinity of the house. The police are urging any individual who recognizes the dog to contact local authorities. They emphasize that the purpose of this notice is to locate the rightful owner so that appropriate care measures can be taken for the animal.
The investigation confirms that the dog appears to be well-cared for and trained, suggesting it belongs to a known household. The police appeal to the community to assist in the identification of the owner. Residents who have information regarding the dog or who believe it belongs to them are asked to report immediately to the police station to facilitate its safe return to its owner.
