Inter is not handing over for Liverpool’s star, preparing a new offer for his transfer

Inter Milan has reportedly established new direct lines of communication with Liverpool concerning the transfer of midfielder Curtis Jones. According to reports, the Italian club has initiated discussions with Liverpool, though no formal offer has been submitted at this time. The interest from Inter Milan is not unprecedented.

The Serie A side first approached Liverpool regarding Jones in January, proposing a deal structured as a loan agreement that included a purchase option. This interest persisted throughout the summer transfer window, but both previous attempts were declined by the English club. Initially, Inter presented an offer valued around 20 million euros.

Following this, the Italian side returned in September with an improved proposal, reportedly valued at approximately 25 million euros. Despite these efforts, Liverpool rejected both bids, maintaining a valuation for Jones near the 40 million euro mark. The current development suggests a shift in strategy for the Inter side.

Given the gap between their last bid and Liverpool’s stated valuation, Inter is now reportedly considering the possibility of submitting a revised offer that aligns more closely with the higher figure demanded by Liverpool. These new contacts signal a renewed and potentially more aggressive push to secure the player for the club, indicating a significant escalation in the ongoing transfer negotiations.
