The 12th annual “Chillifest 2026,” a traditional vegetable culture festival, begins today, August 7, in the Greater Municipality of Rahovec. The three-day event is scheduled to run through August 9, featuring a comprehensive program of cultural, entertainment, and agricultural promotion activities. The festival’s opening day commences with a visit to the “Korr e Ha” farm and the staging of a “Vegetable Carnival.” Organizers state that this year’s iteration of the Chillifest aims to highlight and promote local agricultural production and diverse cultures.
The focus will be placed on incorporating traditional, indigenous, and unique activities, alongside various competitions dedicated to vegetables and other agricultural products. Beyond the daytime programming, the Chillifest will also feature evening entertainment. A musical program is scheduled, with various artists performing on the designated “Chillifesta” stage.
The event continues its tradition of celebrating local farming heritage while offering a broad spectrum of community engagement activities over the next three days.
