The Prosecutor of the Special Prosecutor’s Office of Kosovo, Bekim Kodraliu, reported that investigations over the past two years have focused on seven espionage cases. These investigations suggest that various individuals may have been recruited by the Serbian Intelligence Agency (BIA). Speaking to RTK, Kodraliu confirmed that the probe involved collaboration between the Kosovo Intelligence Agency and the Kosovo Police.
“More specifically, so far we have seven espionage cases involving several individuals who are suspected of having been part of the recruitment by the Serbian Intelligence Agency (BIA),” Kodraliu stated. According to the prosecutor, there are currently four criminal indictments related to acts of espionage. He further noted that two of these indictments have already reached a final determination.
Kodraliu provided details regarding the progress of these legal actions, emphasizing the ongoing nature of the investigations into foreign intelligence activities. The focus remains on uncovering the extent of any collaboration with the BIA and the individuals involved in the recruitment process.
