According to a recent notice, police officers conducted awareness patrols and continuous monitoring in public parks. During these activities, officers informed individuals operating electric scooters and bicycles that park circulation is prohibited by existing road signage.
For those who failed to comply with the established regulations, the police took action in accordance with the Law on Road Traffic Regulations. As a result of these enforcement efforts, seven electric scooter drivers were issued fines of 150 euros each. Furthermore, the police confiscated the electric scooters associated with these violations.
This initiative underscores the police’ commitment to enforcing existing traffic laws within public recreational areas.
