PDK once again takes action against the Government, and the Alliance joins them—they demand the constitution of Parliament

Deputies from the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) gathered this morning in front of the Government of Kosovo to voice demands concerning the constitution of the Kosovo Assembly. Among the deputies present at the demonstration were members including Besnik Tahiri, Time Kadrijaj, and Albana Bytyçi. The PDK issued a formal statement to the acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, demanding his presence at the Assembly to facilitate the restoration of constitutional order.

The party urged Kurti to address the political situation without allowing state institutions and the interests of the citizenry to be leveraged for individual or partisan political objectives. The group specifically called for Kurti to attend the Assembly at 11:00 AM that day. This demonstration represents part of a series of ongoing political actions by the PDK.

The central focus of their advocacy remains compelling the executive branch to ensure the Prime Minister attends a session of the Assembly and convenes a formal constitutional meeting. The protests underscore a current period of political tension within Kosovo, with opposition figures maintaining that constitutional procedures must be followed by the ruling government. The continuous presence of the PDK at the seat of government highlights their sustained push for adherence to established legislative protocols within the republic.
