Three people allegedly attacked for revenge in Peja; the Prosecutor’s Office files charges against one person

The Basic Prosecution in Peja, operating under the Department of Serious Crimes, has formally filed charges against an individual identified as M.H. The charges stem from alleged criminal acts, specifically “Aggravated Murder Attempt” and “Unauthorized Possession, Control, or Possession of Weapons,” as defined by the Penal Code of the Republic of Kosovo. The indictment alleges that on October 17, 2025, at approximately 4:15 PM, on “Miftar Zeqa” street in Peja, the defendant M.H.

was involved in actions purportedly motivated by revenge. The charges claim that M.H. intended to deprive three specific individuals—identified as B.G., A.G., and B.G.—of life, thereby endangering the life of a victim named A.U.

According to the prosecution’s filing, the defendant was observed securing multiple weapons. These items reportedly included two AK-47 type long guns, two short guns, and a substantial quantity of ammunition. Following the acquisition of these materials, the indictment further states that M.H.

proceeded to monitor the movements of individuals in the area. These charges represent serious criminal accusations brought forth by the local prosecution office in Peja. The case centers on the alleged planning and execution of violence, coupled with the illegal possession of firearms, all framed within the context of alleged retaliation.
