Lushtaku: The father offered the weapon to the Kurtë during the war, he did not accept

PDK Deputy Mërgim Lushtaku stated that Albin Kurti declined the provision of weaponry during the war in Kosovo. Speaking on Klan Kosova, Lushtaku recounted an instance where his father, Sami Lushtaku, offered weapons to Kurti. According to Lushtaku, his father presented an automatic weapon to Kurti, but the acting Prime Minister reportedly refused to accept it.

Lushtaku elaborated that this exchange took place in Likovc. He noted that since Kurti was part of the regular army and engaged in combat, the refusal of the weaponry was notable. Furthermore, Lushtaku claimed that Adem Demaçi had advised Kurti against accepting the arms.

He stated that Demaçi, in some manner, counseled Kurti not to take the weapons. The statements from Lushtaku suggest a historical account regarding the military support offered to Kurti during the conflict. The core assertion is that despite his father offering arms to Kurti during the war, the acceptance of those weapons was declined by Kurti, allegedly with the advice of Adem Demaçi.

These details provide a specific recollection of events concerning military aid offered to Albin Kurti during the period of conflict.
