Kosovo’s presidential elections are set to conclude on May 1st, following a series of planned dissolutions and re-elections. The process will begin with the dissolution of the current parliament, the Kuvend, thirty-four times during the election of the president. The Minister of Infrastructure, Albin Kurti, leader of the Lëvizjes Vetëvendosje party, sent a telegram to the Lidhjes Demokratike të Kosovës.

The presidential election itself is scheduled for 11:00 AM within the Kuvend. Following the initial dissolution, Vjosa Osmani, the current president of Kosovo, will be formally appointed. A subsequent ceremony will take place at 4:00 PM to officially dissolve and re-elect the president.

This multi-stage election process is designed to ensure the completion of the presidential term in accordance with the established constitutional procedures. The events will unfold within the Kuvend building, marking the formal transition of power within the Kosovo government.
