This immediate funding supplements a broader, long-term plan totaling 180 million euros, which is designated for the structural economic reconstruction of the area.
The initial 165 million euros package outlines a phased investment strategy. Specifically, 80 million euros are budgeted to support the local economy over the next four months, while an additional 70 million euros are allocated for the year 2027. In total, the plan commits 150 million euros toward direct economic support spanning an 18-month period.
This direct support capital is structured to benefit various sectors of the local economy. Of the 150 million euros, 35 million euros are earmarked for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and self-employed individuals. Furthermore, an additional 15 million euros is dedicated to bolstering trade within the region.
The combined financial commitment aims to provide comprehensive support to stabilize and rebuild Ceuta’s economic framework through these targeted investments of euros.
