However, the data suggests that while the desire to return is present, the majority view this as a long-term objective rather than an immediate prospect. According to the survey results, 52.25% of respondents stated that they currently plan to return to Kosovo.
When examining the timeline for this potential move, the figures show a significant delay for most participants. Only 6.73% indicated an intention to return within the next twelve months. In contrast, a larger group, accounting for 45.52% of those surveyed, anticipate making the move at a more distant date.
Despite the timeline associated with repatriation, the willingness to contribute economically appears even stronger. A substantial majority, 65.92% of respondents, declared that they intend to invest capital within Kosovo. These findings illustrate a sustained commitment from the diaspora to Kosovo, demonstrated both through future relocation intentions and a higher commitment to financial investment.
