Thomas, a local resident, expressed his intention to visit the campground despite these conditions. He stated, “I don’t know if it’s worth camping there, but I’m going to check it out myself; I’m going to drive 192 km/h (120 mph) to reach the Adriatic.”
The campground’s proximity to the sea is approximately 70 meters. The area is characterized by windy conditions, with reports indicating sustained winds of 192 km/h (120 mph).
