Pristina – Police in Kosovo have apprehended a 23-year-old man in connection with a serious theft reported on April 23, 2026, at a residence in Pristina. Immediate action was taken by Capital Investigation Sector units following the initial report. According to a statement released by authorities, the suspect, identified as R.

K., a citizen of the Republic of Kosovo, was identified through investigative and operational work. He was subsequently interviewed in coordination with the State Prosecutor and formally arrested yesterday. Mr.

K. is currently being held in custody for a period of 48 hours as part of the ongoing legal proceedings. The investigation is ongoing, with support from the State Prosecutor’s office.

Following the completion of the initial procedures, the stolen items were returned to the property owner. Authorities confirmed that the recovered items were old. This arrest marks the conclusion of the initial phase of the investigation into the aggravated theft.
