The initial incident occurred at 01:30 when a male individual contacted the police station, reporting his concern about the death of a family member. Responding swiftly, police officers arrived at the deceased’s home in Gostivar. They found K.D.
(63), also a resident of Gostivar, deceased with apparent injuries and indications of violence on his head. The discovery prompted immediate investigation and the subsequent arrest of K.D.’s son. Preliminary statements from the suspect indicated that his father had passed away the previous day, around 14:50, following a fall in the bathtub.
However, the suspect had not previously reported this incident to the police. The investigation continues under the direction of the Gostivar police.
