Gostivar, North Macedonia – A driver was apprehended for speeding on April 19, 2026, on the Gostivar-Tetovo road, resulting in the seizure of a tracking vehicle. According to the Motorized Police Battalion (MPB) of North Macedonia, the incident occurred at approximately 18:50. The driver, identified as K.I.

(44) from Gostivar, was observed traveling in a “Mercedes” passenger vehicle with Gostivar registration plates at a speed of 178 kilometers per hour. This occurred outside of a designated settlement area where the legal speed limit is 80 kilometers per hour (49.7 mph). Following the detection, the vehicle was impounded.

Mr. K.I. will now face sanctions as determined by legal proceedings, as outlined by North Macedonian law.
