The complainant reported that the suspect utilized falsified emblems, signatures, and the official seal of the Peja municipality to mislead individuals within the municipality.
According to police statements, the individual contacted citizens, falsely representing that the Peja municipality would be distributing housing for social cases. The suspect reportedly requested €800 from prospective applicants under the guise of initiating the housing application process. “By contacting citizens of the Peja municipality, he had promised housing that would be divided for social cases by the Peja municipality, requesting an amount of 800 euros under the pretense of the initiation of the procedure for obtaining the housing,” the statement said.
