A person passed away at the Kosovo University Clinical Center (QKUK) following severe injuries sustained in a traffic accident. According to reports from the Kosovo Police, the collision occurred on August 14, 2026, at approximately 17:43 hours. The incident took place on the Klinë–Skenderaj road in the Jashanicë area of Klinë, involving a car and a transport vehicle.
The victim was transported to QKUK for emergency treatment due to the trauma sustained during the accident. Despite receiving care at the hospital, the person ultimately succumbed to their injuries on August 29. Following the passing, official procedures were initiated.
By order issued by the prosecutor’s office, the body was subsequently transferred to the Institute of Forensic Medicine to undergo a full autopsy. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the traffic accident remains ongoing. The reports confirm that the medical facility, QKUK, treated the patient until their passing, concluding the medical aspect of the incident.
