A man has been apprehended in Pristina following an investigation into the theft of a substantial sum of gold. Approximately one million euros’ worth of gold was stolen, and the case centers around a suspect, identified as XH.V. The Pristina Prosecution has formally detained him on charges of serious theft.
The investigation revealed that the suspect is believed to have taken possession of roughly nine kilograms of gold. During a targeted operation at his residence, authorities discovered and confiscated a (1) unlicensed firearm and a (1) diamond, acting under the direction of the state prosecutor. Following the discovery of these items, a temporary restraining order will be implemented regarding the suspect’s assets.
Specifically, a BMW X6 vehicle and a property located in the Tophane neighborhood, valued at approximately 110,000 euros, are targeted for seizure. The Pristina Prosecution intends to pursue legal action against the suspect, and requests for the immediate confiscation of these assets are being prepared.
