Abdikshi: Anyone who calls for new elections is crazy and does not want what is best for Kosovo

LDK Chairman Lumir Abdixhiku stated that calls for holding new elections are misplaced, asserting that political stability must be considered a foundational national value for the Republic of Kosovo. Speaking to Rubikon of Klan Kosovën, Abdixhiku argued that the focus of political discourse should be on establishing robust institutions rather than immediate electoral changes. He contended that those advocating for new elections are, in his view, undermining the best interests of the Republic of Kosovo.

According to Abdixhiku, political parties should fundamentally orient their goals toward achieving institutional stability. The Chairman further referenced past political maneuvering, noting that his party had previously sought external support when facing difficulties. He outlined a proposed sequence for national governance, suggesting that discussions should first address the presidency before moving to the Assembly and the Government.

Abdixhiku emphasized the ongoing trajectory toward solidifying institutional frameworks. He maintained that the primary objective for all political actors must be the consolidation of stable governance structures. The chairman strongly cautioned that any push for new elections at this juncture risks destabilizing the progress made toward establishing these necessary institutional pillars.

Therefore, he urged that all political efforts prioritize foundational stability over the timing of any new electoral cycle.
