The Municipality of Fushë Kosovë has announced that the local Waste Management Company has initiated the process for private citizens to dispose of household and construction refuse at designated sanitary landfills. The service points are located in Mirashi, Landovica, Velekinca, and Dumnica. According to the official notice, the scheduled days for waste acceptance are every Saturday, operating between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
The fee for disposal is set at 10.31 euros per ton, and payment must be rendered exclusively via bank card. The facilities are equipped to receive various materials, including construction and demolition waste, discarded furniture, and damaged household appliances, provided these items fall under categories permitted by current legislation. However, the notice explicitly outlines several types of waste that are strictly prohibited from disposal at these landfills.
These excluded materials include hazardous waste, liquid waste, explosive or radioactive materials, infectious waste, and any waste containing asbestos. The management company advises the public to adhere strictly to these guidelines to ensure safe and compliant waste disposal practices.
