Ten individuals were admitted to the General Hospital in Gjakova following a traffic accident that occurred in the village of Mrasor on the Gjakova–Klinë highway. According to a statement released by the hospital, the emergency department received the ten patients around 7:10 PM for immediate medical assessment and treatment. Following initial examinations at the facility, the injured were distributed to various specialized departments within the hospital.
Out of the ten people involved in the accident, two patients required transfer to the QKUK facility. The majority of the group was admitted internally: five individuals were assigned to the Orthopedics Department, one was admitted to the Surgery Department, and another was placed in the Gynecology Department due to pregnancy. The hospital confirmed that one of the patients was assessed and subsequently discharged home after receiving necessary care.
The General Hospital of Gjakova provided details regarding the triage process following the accident, emphasizing the immediate care provided to manage the various injuries sustained. The hospital staff managed the intake and subsequent specialized care for all affected parties resulting from the incident in the Mrasor area.
